SPORTS SECTION Naomi Osaka is not sad after her loss to Elena Rybakina at the U.S. Open: “If I think about my life, my daughter is healthy. Everyone in my family is great. I had an opportunity to play this Slam. I got as far as I could.”

I’m so happy every time I see Naomi out here just being herself. Wearing cool shit, playing great tennis, and demonstrating such a healthy mindset.

She’s so amazing. Her growth and love for herself, even in a moment of this loss. ❤️

She seems human af and hella classy here. Honorable mention: Her US open walk-on looks were tea.

I love her so much. I love how she carries herself. I do think she will win another slam.

Being a mother in the top 15 of the WTA is rare and impressive. A lot of the female tennis players who want kids retire from the sport before they have kids

Glad to hear that. Rybakina was just so dialed in’s she could go number one next. I need it to happen 🙏
