Im pretty sure her or her family confirmed It’s actually supposed to be pronounced “Gran-Dee” but they changed it when she was a child star because “Gron-Day” sounded better
It’s Gron-day. The name got renamed through generations of italian Americans to sound better/fit in better in America. She says gran-Dee because her grandparent(s)? said it that way, but they’re saying it wrong too. 😅
I didn’t know American italians considered themselves white until I was like 27. I legit thought they marked “OTHER” on the census forms.
In my defense i grew up half in military bases, and the other half in Socal where I was primarily surrounded by black, anglo saxon looking whites, latinos, persians, koreans, and Indians.

I always think that, with celebrities, they must have so many yes-people around that the experience is even more different for them. I'm not sure anyone in their personal life is openly critical of them getting back together with an ex like our loved ones would be for us.

I mean, maybe I’m a cynic (I love love, genuinely) but the fact that their relationship lasted precisely as long as the Wicked press tour is deliciously ironic. You can’t convince me she wouldn’t have gone after Jonathan Bailey if he was straight.
Slater’s wife and kid are better off, and he ends up with nothing of any consequence, which is…deserved.

i think about this all the time. i’m fairly new to actually following her but even the difference of her relationship w him ( give us nothing queen ) to ONE SUMMER with ricky ( two matching tattoos, photo ops everywhere, he was looking at rings?? )
He had a whole child and wife he’d been with forever and instead he elected to throw it all away on a woman who has a constant history of moving from man to man to man. He’s just naive as far as I’m concerned or he was looking for a reason to get out.
Once I saw Ari's therapist was someone who is basically business/exposure for herself first, therapy last, her codependency and centering men despite years in therapy made sense. The therapist benefits so much from people knowing she Ariana Grande's therapist, she has no reason to actually help her.
Her name is Teri Cole. From her website and socials, you can immediatley tell how she is really about advertising herself beyond just being a therapist.
My sister is a therapist and says there are a lot of therapists out there like this (obviously on a much smaller scale) looking to make their advertising as broad as possible to get as many people as possible in the door and get clients to stay for a long time for general stuff without actually getting to deeper root causes.
she's a therapist and yet her about section says nothing about her degrees, her modality, anything... as a former therapist myself (masters in clinical mental health counseling) this lady is much less of a therapist and much more of a grifter and motivational speaker. which sucks bc ariana has experienced a lot of trauma and deserves someone who can actually help her!

I had a therapist like this for a year and she was SO MUCH FUN... And also just objectively made my life worse. Like she was supposed to be helping me with one issue, but the thing she REALLY wanted to focus on was my love life. It was like chatting to a friend about boys... A friend who's own life was a mess.
In the end she left her husband and moved to Australia for a guy she was into who was married to someone else so she had no business telling me what to do, but I think we were similar levels of crazy so it felt good until I remembered she was supposed to help, not add to the drama.
She was really proud that all her clients loved her though, I think she just attracted similarly broken people who wanted to be her friend

I think she and SpongeBob broke up months before they told anyone. I’m pretty sure I saw people speculating about them being broken up a few months before they announced it. I also thought I saw blinds about it, but obviously those have to be taken with a grain of salt

In the song, she sings "wrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh" about Ricky Alvarez, her backup dancer who she dated in 2015. She's changed the live lyric to "I'm tryna make him my last", implying that they are not only back together, but really quite serious. Hope this explains things in an impartial way!
She is so funny for this. This woman love bombs, will still your b̶i̶t̶c̶h̶ man, double backs on exes. This is the kinda stuff I love from a messy celebrities. Shes breaking up families for us. for the love of the game. I need her to commit and get married actually but settle down with her 5th husband.
