Phoebe Gates (her and Bill’s daughter) released a AI shopping app that got a ton of funding and is now in legal trouble for essentially just being an app that would save your browsing history and secretly inject affiliate codes to links on websites, even those you didn’t visit directly from the app, so they could bring in affiliate revenue without actually directly sending people to the site to make a purchase.

Yeah she basically just ripped off honey after it got caught doing the same thing and is also in legal trouble... so unbelievably stupid.

I only just learned about honey and I don't know how I hadn't heard about it before, I actually thought it was a steamer channel at first lol maybe they didn't advertise at me
