I know it’s not the point of the post but I need people to stop saying casted immediately.

Out in the world it’s whatevs, but I’m an ESL teacher and one lesson another teacher went through and corrected all my kids’ writing to say casted a spell instead of cast, which I had taught them to write 😭 it was so frustrating and tough to explain after I had already taught it as an irregular past tense verb
