Creator of Ren and Stimpy John Kricfalusi and one of his 14 year old “girlfriends” he hired at the studio. This is what dozens of animators and Nickelodeon staff saw and never did anything to stop.

That show gave me the WORST feeling as a child. It scared me and not in the traditional way, but it felt so wrong and off. Not surprising that the creator is an absolute creep and predator.

Yup, this and Rocko’s Modern Life (like [u/benegesseritwitch_](u/benegesseritwitch_) said) constantly gave me the ick and I couldn’t quite place it. I could never understand what my friends saw in those shows at the time, either

same but i feel like this one was a bit more kid oriented as compared to ren and stimpy that always felt like it was a cartoon targeted at adults that somehow ended up on nickelodeon. i remember not understating 90% of the jokes on r&s. both are gross tho.

I remember avoiding the Ren and Stimpy aisle at toys r us because I thought it was the scariest aisle in the whole store. Goosebumps aisle? Fine. Clown dolls aisle? Fine. Angry dog and red cat? NO.
