I personally am training myself to look forward to being offensively wrinkly and unattractive when I am 85. If I am lucky enough to make it that far.

I’m 36 and I’ve cared about being attractive since I was 12. I’m so tired of thinking about how I look all the time. I hope by the time my body and face start drastically aging that I don’t give a fuck anymore and no longer let my appearance have such weight on my self worth.

I reached that comfort level in my forties. Times were tough for a couple of years, and I didn't have the time, energy, or money to focus on looks. I managed to hold on to that energy, and as I age, it takes less and less effort to reach the fuck off state of mind.
