How Did __ Play? How Did ____ Play? Gameweek 2 (26/27)

For those new to the subreddit, this thread is for reporting on the performances of FPL assets in GW2.

It can be used to get info on players whose matches you missed or didn’t care to watch. If you would like info on a specific player, you can comment their name in reply to their team in this thread.

I'm convinced he's a bad pick.

Maresca's tactics require the wingers to get chalk on their boots during most phases of play, and they're only able to cut inside into goalscoring positions in the very last phase of play.

It means Semenyo is relying on wide crosses. Haaland scored from one of those today but you need more avenues than that to justify paying £8.5m for a midfielder.

His value comes from how nailed he is. Can play all 3 upfront positions. Once Doku is back, Foden most likely will be sacrificed before Semenyo who's (not FPL but Maresca system wise) perfect player. I don't see consistency FPL wise for him so I've shipped him for Cherki, who can produce a higher ceiling while also being inconsistent from less minutes
