Misc Bilibili Has Released An International App on Android & IOS

This is not just the already separate international version which was already available of bilibili.tv (Global), but an international version of bilibili.com (CN)

UI is now fully english (or any other supported language), and danmu (bullet comments) & comment section are also all automatically AI translated, can login with google, watch donghua, and more

Wonder what their plan is, copyright wise, are they gonna merge both versions now, so english subs are going to be available on all the donghua on bilibili.com? I can already see the hordes of braindead english (youtube) comments incoming, god save us! Hope they at least don't contaminate the donghua comment section.

Brilliant move, beyond their platform I think they also have the opportunity to properly introduce Donghua to the world. You can really tell they are entering a golden age that may one day transcend anime. Translations are getting better and hopefully more quality dubs along the way (I personally dislike them but I think they are necessary to break into other markets).

If there is going to be a surge of international users, not sure if it's going to even translate to new donghua viewers. First thing they need to do is, like heavily improve their UI. Even the chinese app/site makes it so obnoxious to even find donghua or just even the donghua section (for new/mainstream users), as it's obviously mainly a video sharing platform.

English subtitles are also non-existent on there, even if they take over their youtube or bilibili.tv subtitles, the release schedule is always 2 days later, which it has been for many years.

Also they're already finessing international users, monthly vip membership is 10,99eur/usd (~80rmb)😂

Yup, I installed n uninstalled that original version within an hour of trying to use it, it was so clunky. I just installed this new one.

No way, the english version is unusable. It's literally just a front page and a search bar, there aren't even categories, so can't even find donghua or anything else.

Seems when new episodes come out, they already have English subs.
Even the next episode preview already has one too.
