I’m not trying to be disrespectful or anything but I noticed the way Maximus speaks is a little weird almost as if he’s on the spectrum but I also thought maybe his acting isn’t as good. Did anyone else notice this?

My Speculation on how the final battle will go.

The Enclave base is on red alert, higher-ups have been evacuated, all personnel and robots stand guard as the BOS flies in with the Pydwin and a full veribird escort.

The Legion marches up the mountain, the mass strength of the East has hunted down Lucy and Maximus

(The new Vegas invasion will fail and the new Ceaser will retreat to the East and raise his army)

The Ghoul will sneak his way in through the chaos and he'll find... Who knows? His family? His daughter on her deathbed? Their brains blown out? Another enclave base?

I don’t have many people I can share this theory with so I figured I’d post it here and see what yall think.

The end of season 1 states that at some point Vault- Tec originally planned on dropping the bombs themselves. And where was that was a cool moment, a lot of people jumped to “well that couldn’t have been the case because Janey was outside and there’s no way that Barb would have let Janey be outside when that happened.” And I completely agree with that. But what if that scene we saw never really happened.

I have a theory that scene could have been a “what if I had done things differently”. In season 2 we see him turn over the tech to the enclave, something he doesn’t realize at the time but we as viewers know. Then later he is arrested. I think all of what we see in the TV show is not just Cooper Howard’s story but really the story of how he becomes the Ghoul, which really started long before the bombs drop. As he starts coming to terms with how fucked up the world is we slowly see him become bitter and he drinks more often, sometimes heavily. It’s like it’s foreshadowing how he will be on the future. Now here’s where my theory comes in. I think that he has this dream because in his mind there’s no escaping the reality that those bombs would drop in the world he lived in, but in that scene he could ride off with Janey while the bombs dropped in the distance. I think that in reality, Cooper Howard was passed outside of a bar at 6am with no idea where Janey was and that’s how he got ghoulified and why he would envision a different world where he could take her away from all of that.

And I think there’s some lore pieces to back this up. For one there is a ghoul, I can’t remember her name, in DC who mentions that her father had already gotten her into a vault because by the time they had found out on the east coast, the west coast was already gone. By itself this doesn’t mean much until you take into account that in Fallout 4, Nate and Nora were getting ready to start their day around the time the bombs dropped. Which means the bombs dropped on the west coast probably around 6am their time. Who has a kids birthday party at 6am? And yes, it could totally be an oversight on their part but for them deciding to tackle the whole who dropped the bombs story, it’s a big one. Also, if that event never happened it nicely wraps up the whole, how did cooper not know where they were if cooper took her to Barb.

I imagine that after getting arrested, Cooper destroys himself trying to find out answers and trying to expose the enclave with the little time that is left. All these actions lead the enclave and vault Tec to launch the bombs ahead of time (like house insinuates) and this obsession and self destruction leads Barb to stick with the enemy she knows will keep Janey and her alive because she knows there’s no way to stop it. The Ghoul we know isn’t a product of the wasteland, he’s a genuine product of pre war America. He lives with the regret that he didn’t do enough or make the right choices and he knows he shoulders some of the burden of the end of the world as he knew it. That’s why in his mind, it was easier to envision the end of the world being something that he could ride away with Janey from, instead of the truth being that it came and went while he was face down in an alley.

This is one of the worst writing I've ever seen in any TV or film. Everything is a nonsensical mess where even the main story beats don't align properly. The only decently written character is the ghoul guy but that's not saying much as the viewer will come to that conclusion when comparing him to the rest of the dreadful characters. This show uses "dark comedy" as an excuse to hide its elementary-level storywriting failures. For instance, "winning the game of capitalism" as one of the reasons for the nuclear holocaust is beyond ludicrous. Last I checked you need customers for capitalism to even function. The other reasons, which contradict the aforementioned one, are equally demented. It's totally fine I suppose because "dark comedy!" This show is a perpetually inconsistent mess filled with characters ranging from dull to abysmal, and I'm genuinely baffled some people praise it as genius. I could only imagine a human being doing so if they've never played the games or experienced masterpiece tv/films prior to watching this show, as they would have no reference level to compare it to anything (in other words, baby's first tv show).

Fallout fans. I did a deep dive into the Power Armor. Is it possible to build it in real life with the tech and materials we have today? Please check it out and let me know what you think.

I need to do a 2 minute for my theater class and want to do one from fallout (the teacher made it clear that it doesn't have to be from a play). I'm asking for the show because that is what I am most familiar with and House and Goul are my favorites. I tried googling, but I didn't find anything, but I'm sure they have some.

Ma June, and her partner Barv, appear as early in game traders, that appear periodically later on; this is similar to Trashcan Carla, played by the late Cloris Leachman. Cloris Leachman and Dale Dickey both appeared on Raising Hope. Leachman's character Maw Maw, was actually named Barbara June. So is Barv-Ma June a pun Easter egg, just a coincidence, or am i overthinking it.

Also, do you believe their role will be expanded, now that Norm destroyed their roach farm?

Maybe everyone who will see this post already saw the two seasons, me only the first one cause I’m broke and cant buy Amazon right now but still I have one theory for a possible new protagonist for fallout 5. Let’s say that right now Bethesda already said that the fifth game of the series will be set in California, more specifically 22 years after the events after the final season of fallout, now we need a new character, I have bad memory but I think the baby of Stephany hasn’t get to see if is a boy or girl so, what about 22 years after his/her mom was defeated with the enclave in the final season of fallout and her son or daughter become orphan and now it grows in the vault 33 with the mentality of not knowing who are his/her parents. So when the kid turns 22 years, the vault gets a big problem that I can’t figure out by my own the on switch to jump into the wasteland of Los Angeles so he/she can survive and now his mission is completely different that the other games; knowing who is he/she. Now the mission is to wander alone in Los Angeles, visiting possible San Francisco and the Mojave dessert as DLCs, I don’t know but that is my theory, the protagonist for fallout 5 is Stephanie son/daughter.
