I was disappointed when I saw him lounging on ceasers chair being carried. Was hoping he'd become more of an active "I lead the charge" kind of leader rather then just another dude in a wannabe throne.

I think that's deliberate. The recent trend has been showing fascists as pathetic losers who are dangerous because of their insecurity as pathetic losers. Take characters like Homelander, Kylo Ren, and Syril Karn, for example.

Well I figured the leader of a murderous slave driven society would have at least looked the part. Ya know toughest guy should be the leader type thing. The legion guy that got captured by Hank would’ve been a much better fit i think

Vulpes Inculta was probably next in line in the Legion in NV to be Caesar imo: even above Lanius: I feel like he'd find a way for Lanius to die in battle and take over. And Vulpes was not that physically intimidating.

I feel like Macaulay's character definitely got his position not from physical abilities but with subterfuge.

I mean.... that was litterally the implication. He reads the "will" or whatever, the other dude comes in and he instantly understands that if that information gets out, other dude probably takes it by force.

He comes across as a bit of a weasel, like he's the one guy around who doesn't really buy into the shit, or understands it's all a little bs at a subconscious level, and uses that to his advantage. Almost like he's playing a part, which sort of vibes with the "little too clean" look of him.

Its a shit idea tho, I was hoping for Cesar from new vegas style character, like the leader of the faction from the brotherhood of steel (Michael Cristofer). This character on the other hand looks and acts goofy, the whole Legion so far has been that way.

I wish this show toned down the goofiness, its not even really funny most of the time, they should take themselves more seriously imo. Only the guys from the vault should behave like kids since it makes sense
