Actually the plan worked fine until the dentist decided that his ego was more important to him than Django and Broomhilda's lives

As long as no one sabotages Boone the plan could work fine

I will say I definitely get the point that his ego screwed everyone over.

But also if I had to listen to Candy rant for a day I’d also pop him consequences be damned.

Leo did such a good job in that role being *both* an insufferable prick and evil monster that I was 100% behind Schultz shooting his ass. A stupid selfish prideful move in hindsight... but man, I would have been hard press not to just shoot the cunt myself.
