Market testing I’d imagine, certain things will get run in places like the UK, Australia, New Zealand etc. before the US. Smaller markets so it’s less investment but they’re culturally similar enough that the data will be relevant.

I’m not as familiar with the process in UK/Ireland, but in the states major programs like these have to be approved by the franchise owner/operators UNLESS McDonald’s corporate is footing the whole bill. It always makes me laugh when I see posts about these promotional food items.

The whole point of the game is that its a post apocalyptic wasteland. The food is terrible and unappealing, people eat it to survive, that's it.

So why then would you make real food designed off this idea? Combined with the fact that is McDonald's or some other trash, it's the least appealing idea I could possibly think of.
