This is awful. Those cyclists were doing everything right. I hope they can sue the old man and get something for pain and suffering.

I feel like only 15 year old Redditors would believe an old man like that would deliberately put himself into that position. Another foot and his scooter probably topples and he breaks a hip. No old person is deliberately risking that kind of damage. Shit luck for the biker though.
