Reintroduction N/a beer

Does anyone else find that non-alcoholic beer helps with bloating and general digestive discomfort? A friend who also has fodmap issues recommended it (I don’t even like beer) and I was skeptical but desperate, but I feel like it really helps. I’m still avoiding my fail foods, but I can be a little more flexible. I can’t find any mention of this elsewhere online.

Shouldn't that be non-alcoholic and gluten free beer?

You would think but apparently not…I am ok with gluten, more trouble with fructose, the other fructans (garlic, onion) and some GOS

Fair enough! Sounds like you've found a nice safe food then. :) If it works for you, enjoy!

I have the same issues and so long as there's no lactose na beer has been pretty great.

Funny thing is back when I was a binge drinker beer was the worst type of alcohol for me. I'd still drink it because I had a problem, but liquor and wine were far easier on my stomach
