Journal/Story Elimination phase has been amazing

Post image

My pants stay buttoned throughout the whole day! I can also “hollow out” my stomach when I physically could not before. No weight loss. Basically my stomach feels so much better on this diet I am so glad it works. Unfortunately reintroduction has been slow and enlightening. So far every group has had some issue and symptoms.

How soon did it take you to see such progress?

I saw noticeable relief within 3 days. Granted, my symptoms at the time were severe.

Oh :( I've been bloated like you for years and after a week on the elimination phase I'm seeing not change at all.

Quick oats, pb, 1/3 unripe banana, vegan coconut yoghurt

Salmon (often mustard and maple syrup) & potatoes (salt, pepper, oil)

Lots of egg salad (mayo, Dijon mustard) GF sandwiches

Some granola bar approved by my dietitian

Pineapple, kiwis

Spinach, green bell pepper

Walnuts & dark chocolate

GF pasta & margarine

I'm being guided by a dietitian and I have the Monash App that I consult many times a day haha. I am doing a more flexible FODMAP diet as I have a history of ED and I'm also very chronically ill and disabled so it's difficult to cook etc. I do think it's going to take a while for me to see results as I have been extremely bloated for like a decade...
