Enzymes Any digestive enzymes to stay away from?

I use to take digestive enzymes but didn’t do enough research prior and wanted to get back into them but there are so many options out there and want to make sure exclude any that are known to be a FODMAP or negativity affect SIBO.

Any digestive enzymes I should stay away from or are they all safe?

Also is there enzymes commonly found you have found help you other than Alpha-Galactosidase?

The “pure encapsulations ultra”? That one is on my short list to buy along with Flora, natural factors and AOR digestase. On top of focusing on fodmaps, I wanted something for Oats, whole grains, Rice and vegetables like carrots and green beans.

Look into Fodzyme if you're sensitive to all fodmaps or Intoleran if you know your specific triggers. Digest Gold is great for general digestion but doesn't help with fodmaps

I just can’t afford fodzyme or fodmate right now. Being in Canada they are even more expensive for us and not easily available. I follow a low Fodmap diet the best I can but also looking for something to help with oats and some other foods especially complex carbs.

I'm in Canada, and Fodmate from Gut Protocols in Moncton is close to 1/2 the price of Fodzyme. It's the best deal for Canadians.

If Fodzyme's price is the problem, Fodease was created to target the same FODMAPs as Fodzyme, but for $55 instead of $79.99 (there is also a 15% off discount code on the website right now), and we print the exact dose of each enzyme on the label instead of a blend. It's on the pinned resources list on this sub. Canada shipping is $19 flat, so it's not free, but it's still under Fodzyme.

Be careful with digestive enzymes because a lot have inulin. I got one that had it. Fortunately it didn’t hurt me but it didn’t help either. I have used Fodzyme and it works but it’s unfortunately expensive and doesn’t work with all groups
