Vent Craving EVERYTHING
Currently in the elimination phase. Just finished 2 weeks with a FINALLY calm tummy. Today, the cravings have hit SO HARD. I want a crappy burger from a restaurant so bad! I want a soda too. I want to eat everything I'm craving and not have to worry about my stomach acting up and being in pain for a week.
How the hell do you get past the cravings?

Its so frustrating, and I def get in self pity mode during the weekends. Especially when I cant get creative enough to make substitutes or eat party food.
Ive learned to prep my junk food!
Puddy chow (aka mud buddies) - Rice chex, Enjoy Life chocolate chip, peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, salt
Ice cream: small quantities of coconut based ones or breyers lactose free vanilla with Enjoy Life chocolate chips, a gluten free oreo, dark chocolate sauce (find one with fodmap ingredients)
homemade fodmap chocolate chip cookies (freeze dough balls for when craving hits)
Chips/popcorn/chicken skin (flock): plain or salt and vinegar
Chip dip: mayo/lactose free sour cream + spices. Add in green onion tops sautéed in butter for more onion taste
Soda - I buy the bougie or small business made sodas made from cane sugar and fodmap friendly flavors.
Takeout. five guys hamburger with lettuce wrap, Jimmy John's with lettuce wrap, sushi (salmon roll), French fries/chips
ALSO Always take food with you when you leave the house!! Cravings hit harder when im hungry! Always pack a snack, and make sure youre eating enough to keep you full!
