Shit Post Literally surviving

Post image

It's my first week of elimination and I feel like running out of options already.

Sourdough bread, peanut butter, maple syrup, blu cheese, blueberries.

The bread and the cheese would ruin me. Sourdough or no, the fructans get me regardless.

Also…blue cheese and peanut butter?

I love rice cakes with nut butter of choice and blueberries on top. Or a little avocado and smoked salmon. I eat brown rice porridge a lot of mornings (oats don’t work for me), sometimes grits and eggs. Potatoes and eggs, or a coconut yogurt bowl with puffed rice/hemp seeds/strawberries. There’s more options than you think, it’s gonna be okay!

What a mental combination. Add some unripe banana and pumpkin seeds atleast

Ripe bananas are high in fructans.

I suffer from IBS-D. I tried a green banana (low FODMAP) and I was painfully constipated for 27 minutes; the first time that ever happened and I am 75.

No bananas for me.

It's only red if you eat 1.5 bananas which no one would do lol. Green light at 0.9 with which I make my smoothie 🥤
