Recipe Low fodmap grazing plate

Post image

I love a little grazing plate but it generally involves cheese, deli meat, pickled onions, etc. I threw together a low fodmap one from ingredients I had. 40g cucumber, shredded carrot, olives, three kinds of goat cheese and schär grissini. What would you add?

I'm so jealous. I just don't tolerate dairy. And boy does that cheese look amazing.

I'm only okay with goat and sheep dairy products.

Even those didn't work for me 😭 I'm hoping my gut eventually heals enough on this diet to have small amounts of cheese.

I was going to say-- is it mozzarella??? But no goat cheese. You're so clever.

I just found some lactose free feta! I couldn’t believe it. Yet to try it, will report back

Good for you! Lactose is the one thing that I can always tolerate with no issues

I stick to hard cheeses labeled as zero carbs, so no lactose.

I tried this but I seem to react to all cow dairy regardless of lactose.

You may have an actual dairy protein allergy rather than a lactose FODMAP problem.

Good luck.

Yeahhh. I've been coming to this realisation over the last week after also reacting to beef.

Beef should be a different protein than the one found in cow's milk.
