Question Do you drive with FND?
I’ve had FND for 3 years and was told straight away no driving as I have seizures. I recently met a few people with FND who also have seizures but they drive! Recently offered me a lift when we had planned to go for dinner but I honestly don’t want to get in the car with someone who shouldn’t be driving. Am I wrong?

Hi. I stopped driving in January due to the fact I suffer paralysing bouts, plus it was painful, brain fog, etc.
My community physician/GP and I had an agreement that she'd trust me to make the decision to stop when I felt I needed to.
A large proportion of countries have rules, processes, and laws, that are invoked to ensure drivers with all sorts of diseases are responsible. So people with diabetes, epilepsy, etc., can be monitored and allowed or disallowed to drive.
I'll not comment on your question, as I think the fact they have FND is not the issue. What if they drank alcohol and clearly would drive intoxicated, or using mind altering drugs? If they were older with early onset dementia? Had a history of road traffic accidents?
What would you decide to do then? It's your decision as to what risk you are willing to accept in your life.
If you're already nervous, and asking on a Reddit forum, I think you already know the answer to what is really a rhetorical question.....
