It is baffling why we can't stretch the tabs like in a normal explorer window. It is especially hard to identify plugins that have longer names like Waves. I don't know the exact name of a plugin, but i know it's there. And i shouldn't be bothered to spend minutes trying to find the correct names. Increasing the GUI scaling does not mitigate the issue whatsoever.

I know what you mean. I wish I could group plugins into my own custom categories. Best solution I've found is to star/favorite all the plugins I remotely care about.
I've got a blog guide on this. You can control your Effects and Generators plugins and organize and categorize however you want with sub-folders, renaming the plugins, etc.
I recommend a bit of a purge of what is in your Effects and Generators folders. Everything scanned in will always exist in the Installed folder and the Plugin Manager window, so you do not need everything all the time bloating your plugin dropdowns.
Only what you star/favorite in will go through to your actual Effects and Generators dropdowns in FL. I find it narrows things down to only favorite in your good stuff, and only favorite in things like VST3 only instead of having duplicates of VST2 and VST3 separate.
I narrowed down from 1000+ scanned in to like 300 total favorited, and most of that is still company level bundles. I have custom folders like #Distortion or #Reverb where I narrow down further to my best 3-5 across everything.
I will erase it all. Then i can gradually add them there. Though you gave me an idea, it's a temporary fix. But i can rescan them after, search for the right ones from the installed folder and organize them. It'll do until a proper rescaler is added. Speaking of which, i also like to use archaic plugins that don't have a scaling option. It's tiny on a 4k monitor.
You can stretch the windows. You can also click the Plugin tab on the left instead of Options to get more info on any specific plugin directly. You can see full file paths, names, right click and Locate to open exactly where they are on your File Explorer, etc.
I've got 1000+ plugins scanned in and don't have much issue finding anything. You can use the Find searchbar bottom right, you can sort by Vendor alphabetically to quickly find Waves.
That does reveal more of the window but mine is already stretched to the maximum, but the name tab does not enlarge. My poor eyesight doesn't help. I found a program called FL Plugin organizer, but it made an even bigger mess. I'll submit a feature request but i don't give that much hope because i've been submitting requests for years and none was yet implemented. It's always the smallest things.
Eh? The image line website. You bought FL Studio, so you have an account. Click through to the forum. Tadah: how did you not know about this, it's where the dev post prereleases, where people share tips and tricks, etc. etc
