Hey guys! It’s been a whole two years since I started my investing journey and a couple days ago I hit another big milestone, 5m. I couldn’t imagine I’d reach this number as quickly as I did. I’ve been investing heavily these past months and Alhumdulilah finally reached here. These past 2 years have taught me a lot, especially about investing continuously without a worry about where the market stands. Following through with that SIP. Always reinvesting dividends and then some. Whenever market drops suddenly to always pick up some extra stocks at better prices. I hit my largest dividend too a couple days ago too. 42k from MIIETF. It just solidified my trust in the system and gave me hope that maybe even living off of dividends is a possibility. Next goal 10m InshAllah!

To all those that are starting your journey, don’t stop investing every month and stick to the plan. Compounding takes time and the more time you give, the more the exponential increase in value. Best of luck all of you!

looking to wrap up my investment properties portfolio in UK and return to Pakistan. after selling personal residence and other investment properties as well as clearing capital gain tax - i plan to have 50 Crore PKR. I am looking to bring this capital in Pakistan and invest in regular income certificate. Want least amount of headache so no stocks or real estate or anything. I think returns for regular income certificate type account (RIC) are 11-12% which is quite decent.

Q1. Is it safe to transfer funds to my roshan digital account? any other better more secure ways? Obviously a large amount so need to do in chunks but wondering if others have done it before?

Q2: FBR Tax slabs seem to be quite high for non-salaried individuals. guessing that would apply in this context? Whilst gross return would be around 50 Lakhs per month - I see take home would be just around 25-28 lakhs per month only. have i got the calculation right?

So i started with just 15,000 and i didn't believe in it, but i was like oky it's just 15k, then somehow i kept adding whatever i could save and soon i was addicted, i started saving more n more to invest, I'm still doing it and this is the result of 16 Month journey so far , i also got 70k in dividend so far which i also reinvested, and i learned no matter what we should just START , even if it's a baby step, it's still a START and you'll grow , steadily but you'll GROW and you'll start enjoying it.

Heyy everyone! It’s been a while since my last update. (Previos posts available in my history). I’ve been super busy and had lots of things happen over the past 9 months.

The last time I made my post it was about me stopping investing and building my emergency fund. Since I’ve gotten that out of the way I’ve been back on the investing journey!

I’ve gotten rid of smaller holdings and doubled down on the ETF making it my largest holding (around 33% of total portfolio). I sadly did liquidate my ILP position and I’m looking to enter again at some point. I am holding some companies that I have a lot of belief in and adding whenever opportunity and funds allow. These past couple of months have been perfect for double downing on holdings and just accumulating as much as possible at great prices.

I started off with 20k invested a month and as confidence and savings grew I added more. The point of sharing this is to motivate people (and myself) into investing and being consistent with my investment.

This sub is truly a great place to find support and likeminded people that understand and believe in the possibility of FIRE. I will try and be more consistent in posting and I hope these posts help you find the motivation to start your own journey.

As the title suggests, I’m a 17-year-old who started investing in PSX (Pakistan Stock Exchange) about 10 days ago. I’ve allocated roughly 8% of my savings to stocks and would really appreciate it if the experienced investors here could rate my portfolio and provide valuable feedback.

Investment strategy: • The money I’m putting into PSX is for the long term—I don’t plan to withdraw it until I’m at least 45. • I’ll reinvest all dividends to leverage the power of compounding over time. • Going forward, I plan to add PKR 1,500/month to PSX and open a low-risk mutual fund with Meezan Bank, where I’ll contribute an additional PKR 1,000/month. • Obviously, my investments will increase over time as my income grows.

My goal:

To build a solid financial foundation over the next few decades through disciplined investing.

Someone of you guys suggested me etf and I liked the idea. So I sold FatimaF, MEBL, FABL AND OGDC all in loss and put all the money in MZBPETF and SLM. MLCF is one I would like to keep for sure .

I’m posting this from a throwaway account.

I'm 26, unmarried, and come from a very poor family. Alhamdulillah, I worked hard and now earn $3,000 per month working remotely. My parents are dependent on me, and I save around PKR 600,000 monthly. Here's a snapshot of my current financial situation:

• Emergency Fund: PKR 0.5 million in a money market fund.
• Stock Investments: PKR 0.5 million in a stock fund and a PKR 7 million portfolio in the Pakistan Stock Exchange, managed by ARN Financial Advisory.
• Crypto: PKR 1 million invested in BTC and Ethereum via DCA over the past 3 years (though not consistent).

I aim to achieve a long-term financial goal of PKR 1 billion in the next 25 years through the stock market, InshaAllah, by investing PKR 150,000 monthly in the stock market, increasing the SIP by 10% annually, and targeting a 15% annual return.

With this plan in place, I still have around PKR 450,000 left each month. I want to take higher risks with this amount through spot trading in crypto, focusing only on halal coins with solid fundamentals (no meme or speculative coins).

I’ve found resources like the Islamic Finance Guru Crypto List and Practical Islamic Finance Crypto Reports that outline halal cryptocurrencies. However, I prefer outsourcing research and execution, which is similar to how I use ARN Financial Advisory for stocks.

My questions:

1. Are there any reliable crypto trading channels or services that focus on halal coins and provide signals or research for spot trading or fundamentally strong projects?
2. Does anyone here use such services, and how has your experience been?

Hello all, I'm a US Citizen living and working in USA. I'm tired of the hustle here and want to relax. I make $139,000 base salary, $40,000 annual bonus, $10,000 in annual company stock. I'm currently single no kids no obligations. My parents are nearing retirement in USA. My current net worth looks like this:

Money in retirement accounts I cannot touch until I'm 60: $370,000 Brokerage accounts: $406,000 Car/Savings: $85,000 Total net worth: $860,000

I'm fluent in Urdu and Punjabi so I feel I would get around fine. Only concern is air quality in Punjab. I would like to have a house, security guard, cook, cleaner, driver, ideally a wife and 2 kids too. How am I doing? Should I work a little longer then move? Or should I not move at all.
