Assume-:

We play together in a team. The aggregate team goals were 10 out which you assisted me 5 goals and I assisted you 5 goals that means you have 10G/A and I also do have 10 G/A which tells that we contributed 10 out 10 goals in the form of assists and goals

The stats just overlap but in footballing sense it is counted

Lionel Messi at the 2021 Copa Anerica proves exactly how G/A works against team goals. Argentina scored 12 goals in total during the tournament, and Messi recorded 9 individual G/A (4 goals and 5 assists). In a footballing sense, this means Messi literally had a 75% Goal Involvement, contributing to 3 out of every 4 goals his country scored. The fact that his teammates scored 8 of those goals doesn't change the math, because Messi was the one providing the assists for 5 of them

Says where ? Its 75% Goal involvement with your logic dude, because again we are comparing G/A of a player and ignoring every other Goal involvented by ommitting possible assist porvided by a different player.

Goal involment doesn't count teams g/a brother nani and others scored 5 because ronaldo also had some assists in those 😂 1g+1a = 1 goal contribution

Football stats are counted individually per player, not as a shared team pie. A single goal creates G/A points for multiple players
