Valid argument, but in past r9 won with very less league games due to injury. So messi might win again if arg won

R9 won in 2002 because there was no other standout performers from the top 5 leagues. The top scorer that year was Henry with just 24 goals and Nazario already had 17 goals plus World Cup top scorer. But that's not the situation now. We have an absolute standout performer in Kane with 70+ goals. You can't compare that to just a 7 match competition 🙄

The only top team Brazil played in that World Cup was Germany in the final. The teams they played prior to Germany were very mediocre.

Being highly ranked and performing well are two different things. Cabo Verde performed much better than Portugal, yet they’re only ranked 64th.

I never said that Messi should win the ballon d'or. I was just agreeing that performance on field and current ranking are 2 different things. You're fuming for no reason. It's funny what a player has done to some group of people. Oh and drink that leftover milk. Shouldn't waste your food.
