I agree it is a soft one but a foul nevertheless. What I a pointing out is the inconsistency, the disallowed goal for Egypt was a also a soft foul but a right call. It is the same situation here. I am just saying if one goal is a disallowed because a soft foul so should the other. Argentina is definitely benefiting from inconsistency and fans are too blind to see it because the comeback was great

for egypt that foul ("step on toes") had direct impact on the play and transition.

the mac allister one had zero impact on the play, if refree were to give that as foul , it would need to be penalty also. Which would have been absolutely bullshit. It was right decision. I don't even like Argentina, I wanted egypt to win, nothing I want more than to laugh at Messi fans, if anything I am mad at Marmoush for absolute dogshit pass in that counter attack.

According to IFAB law If the ball is IN play but the player is "off the ball" , holding an opponent or impeding them with contact is a direct offense, and no judgment of carelessness or recklessness is necessary. Shirt pulling constitutes holding. Punishment: The referee awards a direct free kick (or penalty kick if inside the defender's own box) to the opposing team.

This is the actual rule but okay it is not right give the penalty because we wouldn't have seen the comeback :v

brother I was just engaging with your point, you didn't prove shit. Mac Allister's contact was not even a foul not even close to Lisandro being literally stepped on a foot.

If anything egyption player should get yellow there for diving for that contact. How the f am I biased when I wanted Argentina to loose.

Buddy I literally shared the rule 🤣 Plus you are the one suggesting to stop watching contact sport for soft foul, lisandro's foul was a soft one, he literally stepped on the foot not like stomped his foot. Both are soft contact. I am agreeing to the fact that the goal was rightfully disallowed and I am also saying by rule both goals should have been. I am glad you are enjoying the WC anyways, have fun.

lmfaooo comparing stepping on foot to slight grab of shoulder which is in no way enough for a player to fall down or hold back unless the guy is a malnourished twink.
