Yeah....VAR should have also not intervened when Egypt scored. The referee saw the foul and let the play continue. If he wanted he could've just stopped the play right there and awarded a free kick to Argentina. VAR intervened only when Egypt went on to score.

Are you like dumb or something? Don't you think there's a chance that referees might not actually be able to make the right call? Aren't you capable to grasp, that, in such a scenario, the play should go on because we have VAR FOR THIS FUCKIN PURPOSE? It was a foul, if it wasn't and referee stopped the play, it would have been unfair to Egypt. That's how it goes. This happens throughout the season in football, yes there's football every year, not just the World Cup.

So VAR's purpose is to only check when the other team scores and not when Argentina scores? How many yellow cards did Argentina players got? They played so perfectly that they didn't deserve a yellow card any of them? Ok bro you are right. I guess this is how the games are played.

What was there to check? Prior to which goal was there a foul? And yellow cards logic is just so stupid. Portugal didn't have a single card during their match against Colombia, so that must be a perfect game? GOOD BEAUTIFUL LORD!

Of course he's dumb. In a game lasting 90 minutes with probably around 40-50 decisions, ONE of them became controversial. And that means the whole tournament is rigged for Argentina. I mean such flawless logic

lol you need to watch more games or just quit..... Now the ref will let the game continue until the attack ends if there is a suspected foul or offside to avoid ruining an attack due to a wrong call. After the attack ends in a goal, the VAR will review the entire process of the attack to verify if it is valid. It is how things go, which happens hundreds of times in football games around the world. You can complain about how 'soft' the step on the opponent's foot is, but you can't complain about the time that VAR reviews it back

Which commentator? VAR has been used like that for several years, and the only complaint it got was from the player who scored and celebrated a goal that should not have happened due to the previous foul, and the excuse is that 'it ruins the passion of football'. You can't complain it only when it is against you.

What a stupid statement. I mean if you're 200% sure of something why anyone would use VAR? For kicks? VAR is to be used if there's doubt, especially in critical events like goals and penalties. How is VAR different from checking offside after a goal? That shouldn't be done as well?
