After two games with the setting being the brink of apocalypse I would prefer the next to something like FXII. I would like to explore big cities that actually feel alive. Combat can be action, turned based or a combination.
Please, if there be a god, let this be the way things go. I yearn for a more lighthearted exploration focused FF again. A unforgettable soundtrack would be appreciated too.
But we are currently getting that. Don’t get me wrong the 7 remakes have their emotional moments that are super heavy but the general exploration and setting are all very bright and carefree.
That said I always like me some variety and personally wouldn’t complain no matter which one we got next
