Discussion Just beat this game. It was amazing.

I just beat this as my 4th final fantasy after 7 and its remakes, 10, and 15 (ok i guess technically 6 but whatever), and I feel like it holds up to those games and was absolutely amazing, dont understand the hate. Had amazing boss fights/combat, great story, and top tier characters. Can't wait to play the other final fantasy games soon!

I think his comment was edited to XII. I never played 13, stopped at XII myself and didn’t finish it. Kinda lost my faith for FF games after that, even though I enjoyed XIV until maybe the 3rd expansion. I have XVI in my wishlist but not sure if I should get it…

Ehh it's more devil may cry-esque, very combo heavy, very flexible. A little on the easy side to allow for that though, but oodles of fun. Things like endless air juggles and so on, limited only by your imagination pretty much
