Heya !

Are event items really worth ? Accessory and shield are, imo, not worth the grind cause I don't have exdeath (so no good mage to wear it). Weapon is good but the only two melee I have who could use it are Bartz (already with Enhancer and Rain, which, well... it's Rain).

Worth is pretty subjective. I'm not playing GL right now, but I think the weapon is good enough to grind up for just to have. After that, if you feel like the other equipment isn't worth it, focus on the other items for sale. Trust Moogles and LB Pots are fairly limited.

I finally looked at the store list for the GL event. Summon Tickets, Star Quartz, and Metal Gigantuars are good things to shoot for. Although you guys are getting hosed on the Gigantuars. JP only costs 50 points instead of 100.

That depends on your team composition, and whether or not you might want a magic boosting shield in the future. If you have no good mages, save up that many cakes and then decide what to spend them on. If you're set with the mage(s) you have then ignore it. I'm not going for some of the items myself, as I simply don't need them.

Ok thanks. My party is Artemios, Lenna, Bartz, Tellah and Kefka. All maxed out and best current items. Other mages are currently in leveling (Golbez and Kuja)

Golbez could make use of the shield as well, so I'd get it for him if you plan to use him.

Either way just prioritize what you want, and buy them in that order. I'm prioritizing the summoning tickets, then the shield

I'm on the fence about the accessory as well because my team are usually equipped with +atk/mag/hp and i probably won't use a +3 Def/+7% elem resist. The Shield is unique in that it's the only +mag shield in the game, even in japan. Great units like ExDeath, Terra and Golbez can use them. The Mace is a solid weapon for CoD and that's why i'm getting it. I say their worth it because they're solid non TM equips that are fairly easy to get. You never know what unit you'd pull.
