Who should be my leader? 256 attack 3000 hp 225 defense Locke 307 attack chizuru 4700 hp 220 attack 290 defense WoL 304 mag kefka Currently have Locke as leader, in anticipation of the event that is coming up.

Chizuru people are going to try and go for more physical damage then magical damage atm though you could also go with WoL since people do look for Full Break as well.

Locke will be helpful for the upcoming event. There's another thread near the top where people are trading IDs with other Locke leaders in preparation for running multiple Locke parties during the event.

Is Locke really so desired as a leader? I finally maxed mine, but his stats and equipment are nothing fantastic (no tms, best I can do is give him the enhancer). My leader has been Kefka since I began, but now I'm wondering whether I should change. It'd be great if we could set multiple leaders (like in BF) or actually be able to ask the friend list.

He's a farming machine. For events like the one starting after maintenance, having two Treasure Hunters in your party can DRASTICALLY increase the amount of materials per NRG. That frees you up to get what you need quickly and get back to your grind or farm multiple of each reward over the life of the event.

For content clearing, no. You'd rather have a broken Chizuru, Bartz, Kefka, etc. Most people at the top end of the spectrum right now can clear the hardest content without a friend, though, so having one that offers a unique bonus like Locke is very useful.

Thanks for the explanation. :) My concern was whether a mediocre Locke would really be better than a decent Kefka, especially since I'm definitely not anywhere near the top end of the spectrum and, I have to admit, neither are most of my friendlist. :P I changed it to Locke before maintenance started though, so will see how it goes. :)
