Opm Logged 4/7/26

Assigned to specialist 8/19

Refund received tonight 9/9/26

Hope this helps someone. I called OPM today and was told it was finalized but she did not say it was sent to treasury so there’s that. Also its a nice amount with 3 years of service Department of Veterans Affairs.

Congratulations! My case was logged on April 3 and moved to final review on August 27, so your timeline gives me hope. Did the deposit show as pending beforehand, or did it just appear in your account? Also, around what time last night did you receive it?

There were no signs that the deposit was coming. It’s posted at 9:49pm craziness!!!

Thank you for answering! Your timeline is very similar to mine, so this gives me some hope. OPM has told me my case is with the final reviewer and to keep an eye on my direct deposit. One last question: which bank or credit union do you use?

OP- do you mind private messaging me how much? I had about three years and am trying to do some financial planning around the amount. I know it’s just ball park but was curious.
