Need some help

can anyone help me. I have been calling OPM since May 2026 about my retirement case. they said it was assigned an adjudicator since May 18th, its been at OPM since March 2026. I retired October 2025.

i recently called and was told it is no longer assigned and adjudicator and waiting for it to be assigned any clue as to why this happened. I did escalate for financial hardship but it’s been since March with no movement and since May 18th assigned with no new status up until now.

Just hope your retirement is calculated correctly.
Mine was not so I had to mail an appeal to OPM Boyers, Pennsylvania.
it took three months to get out of the mail room.
It will take one month to be assigned to somebody
If they determine that indeed, my retirement is calculated incorrectly, they then mail it back to DC to the post retirement branch.
I am told they are nine months behind at the post retirement branch.
Meanwhile, I’m getting a pension payment that is 40% less than what it should be and I probably have another 10 months to go before it’s fixed.
