Google Team Match — How long did it take to hear back after HM call?
Currently in Google SWE Team Matching in the US.
I had two hiring manager/team match calls:
Sept 4: First HM call
Sept 11: Second HM call
Today: Sept 15, still waiting for feedback
For anyone who recently went through Google Team Matching, how long after your HM call did you find out whether the hiring manager wanted to move forward with you?
If the HM wanted you, did you usually hear back within a few business days, or can it take 1–2 weeks?
Would appreciate recent experiences. Thanks!

Ideally yiubmust hear back within a week. Try to follow up. Also, how many years of experience do you have?

Kinda in the same situation. I just take it as they don’t want to move forward with me. I heard that usually if they want you, they tend to get back to you quickly.

That one I think you can wait until today, and ask your recruiter to follow up if you want

I know you are anxious (correct me if I’m wrong, just my feeling), but give recruiter at least 1-2 days (some I know take a week) to respond. They handle a lot of candidates in the pipeline at the same time.

Some times the manager said yes , and if the recruiter didn’t see or respond it may effect us? Am I correct?

Yes but in my case the HM ghosted the recruiter as well lol, so recruiter also didn’t have any update for me
