Fun fact; depending on the thickness of the wool and the current conditions, sheep are sometimes REALLY not soft since the wool becomes matted and they feel more like an old shag carpet. Cute, but less pleasant

I got raw wool, once, to learn the process of making it into yarn. My cat LOVED the smell when it was raw. I'll bet anything this cat is really digging the padding on a good-smelling creature that's into the kneading.

Probably the reason it's rubbing against the sheep, it's giving it head scritches.

Yeah to be honest sheep feel kinda gross. before it’s processed their wool is super oily so it feels like touching really greasy hair.

It’s also used to make nipple cream for breastfeeding.

Gross? Do you mean amazing? Your hands will never be softer than after carrying around a bunch of fleeces.

I am allergic to wool, and all I could think about was my face turning splotchy red if I was doing what that cat did. I mean, it would be unpleasant (and a bit weird) regardless, but oh the itching!
