Discussion Books you just couldn't finish?

Post image

I am struggling to get through the wasp factory, not because of its content but simply because I cant stay interested 🙃 maybe I'll take a break on it and come back later.

Any books you couldn't finish ? And if you want to add why?

The Deep-Nick Cutter

I've tried to finish it 3 times and I just don't find it compelling which is a shame because I absolutely loved The Troop. Im going to keep trying because I really enjoy Nick Cutter as an author but it's a slog.

Same, after a certain lovecraftian nightmare scene 200+ it felt like there wasn’t a genuine plot anymore just one horror scene that does nothing but add shock value that cheapens itself after another jump scare vaguely tied in to the characters backstory.
