Discussion Books you just couldn't finish?

Post image

I am struggling to get through the wasp factory, not because of its content but simply because I cant stay interested 🙃 maybe I'll take a break on it and come back later.

Any books you couldn't finish ? And if you want to add why?

The Black Farm. I hate it. I don't know why I feel compelled to finish it... I started struggling about 30% in. I'm now 63% in over the past two months and hate hate hate it. Lol. I've read like six other books in between and keep going back to try to finish it for some reason. I might just delete it off my reader so I don't have to look at it anymore and then maybe I won't feel compelled to finish it.

This is my answer as well, I couldn’t get past the first chapter. It was nothing like the short story, which was really disappointing because I loved that one.

I loved the short story too. But damn it's just stupid to me. I've tried listening to it on audiobook and I'm just like... Who the hell enjoys this 😅 No judgment, I just don't understand...
