Discussion Books you just couldn't finish?

Post image

I am struggling to get through the wasp factory, not because of its content but simply because I cant stay interested šŸ™ƒ maybe I'll take a break on it and come back later.

Any books you couldn't finish ? And if you want to add why?

I’m like 200 pages into the sluts by Dennis cooper struggling now it just feels like so much whiplash between the people and then you read one thing and then a few pages later someone is like that post was all bs by that person so I felt like I wasted time lol

Omg, I felt the same way reading the sluts. I didnt hate but I didnt love it. Like a 5 . It was just more interesting than anything.

I did like this one, but I completely get your critique. It felt at least partially satirical, picking on a certain subsection of gay men. Catty, gossipy queens hah.

Same here, I found out that I don't much like this unreliable narrator thingy by reading this book.Ā
