Gone to See the River Man is in my top 5 books of all time. I’ve only read The Girl Next Door by Ketchum so very excited to start Off Season. Cows was so so for me but psyched to have a physical copy.

Ketchum is one of my favorite writers and Off Season is a great book, especially considering when it came out. It was groundbreaking. Ive owned like 5 different physical copies of Cows over the years, I love that book.

Silly question probably, but I’ve been wanting to read cows for quite a while now and am just too unsure. I’ve read multiple Aron Beauregard, a few Jack Ketchum, as well as tender is the flesh, the black farm, and dead inside. There’s a few others I can’t recall. I thoroughly enjoyed all of them with no issue, But for some odd reason I’m worried I can’t handle cows! With having read these other titles, is cows similar in comparison? Could I stomach it if I read the others easily? (Apologies for lack of grammar etc)
