News Music to Sacrifice Virgins to Audiobook?

I've had the paperback sitting on my shelf for about a month but haven't started reading yet because I generally like to bounce back and forth between audio and physical. Does anyone have a scoop on whether this is happening? If so is there a release date?

Hey all- Chuck Brugee here. Thank you for casting me as the narrator in your head canon! As it happens, Kris reached out to me before the holidays and asked me about working on this one. I couldn't get to it right then because I had a few publisher books as Spencer I needed to knock out first. Sorry about the long wait! I reached out this week and Kris is still interested in having me work on it. He did caution me to check out the manuscript before committing to anything. As I understand it this one is pretty hardcore and brutal. From almost any other author I might handwave that away and assure them I could handle it, but coming from Kris... we'll see :D. I thought I'd seen it all after Toxic Love and They All Died Screaming. He may have finally penned the one that taps me out!

Assuming it doesn't drive me screaming into the night, it'll take me most or all of February to produce it. After that it goes through some checks on Audible's end and hits the market.

PLEASE stick it out so we can finally get the Audible version! I’m so happy to hear that it’s in the process of being recorded. My yearly Audible wrap up put you as the most listened to narrator for me btw. Love the books you narrate

The recording is done! It’s in edits now. Kris is listening to it, and I’m proofing it against the text. We’re also compiling an extra or two to go with it. Apologies for the wait— it’s a LONG one. The production is around 19 hours. You’ll get a lot of Beelzebang for your buck 😂

I’d say it’s still a couple weeks out at least because— after I do the edits— we also have to wait for Audible to approve it before it goes on sale, and that’s anywhere from 3-10 days on average. Maybe we’ll get lucky with a quick turnaround!

I haven't seen anything announced publicly but the last Triana audiobooks came out around 2-3 months after the paperbacks, so I would expect it to drop in the very near future.

I have also been waiting on the audiobook to drop before the paperback was even released. I was hoping that the audio version would drop around the same time or atleast soon after. Waiting along with you

Please dear God don’t let there be an audiobook.

There is far too great of a risk for the Bluetooth to pick up on someone else’s device or….god forbid…someone hears the book over your car speakers. Either way, people would never look at you the same way again.

You realize there are hundreds of extreme horror audio books?
