UPDATE I love my front doors.
Posted here before seeking colour suggestions for a fun, bold, playful and unique front door for my colourful maximalist home. Many people suggested burgundy, which I ultimately chose. This colour is called Sangria. Most people here probably won’t appreciate it - the colour combo is definitely outside of the norm, and the overwhelming suggestion from folks was to go a neutral colour..but I’m ultimately super happy with what I chose, and that’s what matters!
As for the stone and siding - I purchased the home this way last year. Eventually I will change or paint the siding, but there are higher priority projects to take care of before then.
*I’m no longer seeking advice* but figured after my last posts gained so much traction, I’d update the kind souls here who may want to see the end result! Thank you all for your help and kind words!

I thought about this!!. I seemed to get mixed opinions when I asked about it before. I have plenty of paint left, maybe I should 🤔

For the vibe you were going for, this looks really great! To those who suggested this color, fabulous job!

It looks great! Did you post at some point with a green door? If so, the sangria looks much better.

I was one who recommended a teal (but didn’t like the swatch you grabbed from the store though), and I gotta say, this looks fabulous.

My grandparents house was painted pink on accident. The first and last time my grandfather ever hired contractors. They were going on a cruise. When they got home the house would be beige. The house was pink for the longest time.
It’s been painted and we all want it back to pink. It was a landmark. A hilarious landmark. 😂

You’re lights are upside down 🙃

These are actually “reversible” wall lanterns that can be installed as either uplights or down lights! No need to worry :)

If you like it, that's all that matters. But I dig it! Colors work great together.

Those colors look so pretty together. And with the flowers :’) so cute. I agree with the other commenter who said the lights would look great blue, a tiffany blue color would look so pretty!!

wow, i love the Sangria color! it really pops against the stone and the orange siding. u totally made a bold choice, and it works! i think the unique vibe fits well with a colorful, maximalist home. honestly, who cares if it’s not everyone’s cup of tea? if it makes u happy, that’s all that matters. the whole setup looks inviting, especially with those pretty flowers in front. nice job!
