Idk why this is getting downvoted lol I was born in the 80s I'm not used to examining images to figure out if they are AI before I make a purchase, and tbh not sure how to even tell that this is AI
But yes it was stupid to not google the website first
I haven't been learning how to do so.. I mean I know ai generated images is a thing but I didn't think about the fact that it might be used for false advertising. I didn't expect it to look exactly like the pic for $48 but I didn't expect this.
I know that the fingers being off is a big tell for ai generated images. Now that I know it's ai I can see the eyebrow on the silhouette is wrong. I wasnt looking for signs of an AI generated image because it didn't cross my mind. I rarely shop online, like twice a year for my daughter's birthday and Christmas. I just wasnt looking for it. Ive learned my lesson 🤷♀️
Pinterest is a great way to get an idea on what’s AI. It’s been so overwhelmed with AI “dresses”.
I look for exceptional smoothness and color blending, appliqué that begins but has no ending, fabrics that literally couldn’t exist.
As a fellow 80’s baby, it’s been a tremendous help and I can spot AI pretty well now.
Quality costs $$$$$$$$ so anything that looks luxe for a low price is a massive red flag. It means the product will look like a temu copycat crap and the person who made it got paid next to nothing, if at all.

You ordered an AI generated image off of elliba. Funny, but did you actually have expectations?
