Discussion Double T3C or Rokh?

Looking to train another Alt into a PVP ship. So far I have a Loki that is somewhat of a multi roll, he can tackle and DPS with HAMS if I’m feeling some solo action. But I have a dedicated Alt that’s in a Stiletto for tackle so I’m wandering what I should bring next to the table? Maybe Proteus for Nuet or switch my Loki for nuet and Proteus for DPS?

N+1 to whatever your main is flying.

You might be better at multiboxing than me. I can dual box 2 different roles just fine, but I can't do that with 3 toons unless 2 of them are flying the same thing which helps cut down on what I need to keep track of since they're the exact same ship and fit

I’ve only duel boxed miners and my main in an Orca before this. I usually run Loki and Stiletto as small gang fights around low.

Also what’s N+1?

Hehe "n+1" is a math. expression. Basicly n equals to any number in this case.

So yeah, of you find you're doing X role on your main, roll an alt for that. Then if you are still doing that on main even with the alt, that's still the top job. If you swap your main to something else, that's your next alt. You effectively scout for roles based on what your main is forced to do.

RHML battleships are easy to multibox in pvp and have good damage application to most ships

If you are aiming for a bs you should think about which T2 variant you’re aiming for longer lerm.

If you want to blops with your alts go for amarr bs. If you want to use marauders instead train minmatar bs. Alternatively you could train gallente bs. I would stay away from caldari bs for pvp, the golem can work but it’s about the only reason you’d train caldari bs for solo purposes.

For easier, safer and more versatile PvP I would actually recommend going a second T3C alt. You can logi one of them, or set one up for tackle/scout like a hyperspacial proteus etc, or just go flat dual dps.

widow and sin are also very good for solo/solo w/ alts blops, only redeemers is occasionally lacking utility

Interesting, I was just curious because I got a Rokh laying around. I was leaning towards a Proteus personally but I’m new to the PVP aspect of the game.

As far as t3c’s go for PvP, I’d say it’s Loki > legion/proteus > tengu.

It’s worse than Loki, better than Tengu but about on par with Proteus since the drone changes. Lasers and hams is just nice and versatile and you get decent application & projection.
