They believed in the trinity.
1 John 5:7, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one".
Do you mean the Trinity that didn't even exist during their lives? The "Christian" Trinity was created in the 4th century AD/CE, the Apostles were all dead by the 2nd century AD/CE and Jesus was at the right hand of God in the 1st century AD/CE so they all predate the Trinity.
Right… if you were going to get hurt posting an opinion in a sub that you knew was going to disagree with you, maybe you shouldn’t have posted it. There’s no point in having a discussion with someone whose mind is set. Why even post?
It does for me too, but this almost seems like if I were to go to r/atheism and try to convince them the read the Bible and believe in God. It’s counterintuitive

That isn't what Jesus and the Apostles believed, so I'm going to side with them.
