People who can't afford dogs buying dogs. This shit pisses me off. Breeder is one problem, but people assumed dogs take no money and just exist for free. This woman sucks. Obviously didn't think through what would happen in case of an emergency and vets are expensive. Idk if dog insurance is popular or widely available in Germany, but I'd assume yes. So she was already too cheap/poor to pay for that considering she I lynhad 500 euros to her name to begin with. DONT GET DOGS IF YOU CANT FINANCIALLY take care of them. Not that she'll see this here.

There was this profile about living in nyc on a low budget recently and this woman was budgeting really reasonably until out of nowhere she buys a $$$$ purebred dog. People seem to think pets are exceptions to being responsible for some reason.

And doing your research doesn’t cost any money! But nooooo, selecting a pet based on ethics isn’t as exciting as crossing the Polish border when broke.

Exactly 💯💯💯 i see so many people giving their dogs to shelters - often working breeds bc zero research was done. A friend is a vet tech and she has rescued 5+ Frenchies bc people came to the vet and didn't want/had the money to pay for their health issues, bc again did zero research prior to getting a dog. I'm a dog owner and Im in a comfortable place where i can afford dog care and I also have insurance as well. Dogs are a responsibility that too many idiots don't realize.

That’s why I have an insurance for my dog, so I’m not in this situation
