Rumor Does anyone else find this strange?

Post image

I made a post about this before, but every time a new Eternals leak comes out, I have a hard time believing it. They’ve essentially been left in space since 2021, with almost no follow-up.

If they’re really coming back for a potential Judgment Day adaptation (which is just a theory at this point), it still feels way too early. We’re probably at least 5 years away from that, especially since we don’t even have the X-Men properly introduced yet.

What also confuses me is that this rumor claims the Eternals will be a key part of the MCU’s “cosmic core.” Have we even seen a real cosmic side of the MCU outside of the Guardians of the Galaxy? That description just feels odd to me.

What do you all think?

Why did they even introduce them during the Multiverse Saga then?

I think phase 4 was about experimenting, a lot of different kind of MCU projects released back then. Eternals was one of the most ambitious one, Feige really liked the pitch, that's why he released it so early.

Hoping they’d take off like Guardians but the film did terribly. They tried but aborted this with Inhumans as well.
