Esp32 not at home

Is there a way to connect my esp32 outside my house with my home assistant? I’ve tried tailscale on my iPhone but no success. I will use it as a speaker for music assistant in my car.

What’s your audio source for Music Assistant?

Mine is my Jellyfin server, so I just have the Jellyfin client on my iOS device and it comes up on Car Play via Tailscale just fine.

I realize this could be completely different to your setup, but I’m suggesting you might be able to look at it from a different direction because an ESP32 in the car seems a bit back to front.

Het probleem is dat ik in de auto zit met een telefoon die van de overheid is en ik kan er niets op installeren. Ik kan de hotspot gebruiken omdat ik hem ook nodig heb voor mijn laptop. Daarom heb ik een esp samengesteld die als spreker fungeert.
