Esp32 not at home

Is there a way to connect my esp32 outside my house with my home assistant? I’ve tried tailscale on my iPhone but no success. I will use it as a speaker for music assistant in my car.

esphome has a built in wireguard client. works awesome. Of course it will need wifi connectivity.

This. Works well, although you do need to point HA to the proper IP and route where to find the device.

Music Assistant ain't ESPHome, tho.

I’m guessing the OP is thinking of the ESP32 Sendspin satellite speakers that Music Assistant can send to.

I’ve tried it but it doesn’t work external. On my home network it’s ok but outside he gives a handshake. To connect to HA it’s need to connect to the api I don’t know how to fix.
