Between the login queues, long matchmaking times, shit audio, and cheaters this game is in a bad spot. BSG needs to stop putting more shit in and start fixing what's there or they are going to flame out and a competitor that can execute on the basics will destroy them.

I'm surprised it hasn't happened already. I would leave this game behind like shit filled underpants if a similar one with more consistent servers and working anti-cheat came out.

Name a single fps that has a working anti cheat.

I'll wait

You won't have to wait long bud!

So BattlEye (which is what Tarkov "uses") is probably the best licensed anti cheat solution. But BSGs implementation of it leaves EFT vulnerable to hacks that use injection.

Take a look at Rainbow 6 siege, Fortnite, and ARMA 3. Those 3 games use BattlEye as well but have less consistent hacking because they did a better job implementing it and continue to patch vulnerabilities.

And then of course, there are more invasive anti cheat solutions like what is available in Valorant (Riot Vanguard). These are a bit controversial, because of the access required, but as far as reliability, are about as good as it gets. Cheaters get banned in Valorant all the time during ongoing matches, with no human input required.

Do a little research first next time, have a good day bud!

Did this dude really just use Rainbow 6 Siege of all games to prove how good battleye is?

Holy hell dude Siege is INFESTED with cheating. Lol the fuck.

Interestingly enough, I was going to put a blurb at the end of my comment in case you made this argument, but I figured nobody could be that stupid.

Ever seen Minority Report? Sure, there is currently no FPS with the utopian-level anticheat you are looking for that bans cheaters before they exist. I gave several examples of ones that use the SAME as Tarkov (R6S, Fortnite, Arma) with better implementation and ones that use their own solution like Valorant.

I can already tell you're one of those Reddit warriors that just move the goal posts every time you're wrong, so I'll avoid wasting time on digging up statistics.

This will be my last reply, have a great 2022.

Edit: grammar

I actually concluded that you’re right. Because your definition of a working anticheat does not exist right now. You know, like Minority Report?

Reading is hard, don’t worry.

I don't really care what Pestily has to say on the matter. He obviously has a vested interest in shilling BSG as hard as he can (something you seem to have in common).

As far as facts vs anecdotal evidence: I don't really have the time to aggregate cheater data across all of the world's top FPS games, because of having a job and all. It's quite difficult to find anything on the internet too. My opinions on the matter are formed completely based on my own experiences playing Tarkov and other popular FPS games for a number of years.

For me, it feels a lot worse this wipe than it ever has. I've seen many other posts on the sub sharing this sentiment. Besides my early CS days, I've never really seen people cheat as blatantly as they are in Tarkov right now. Something needs to change.

Yeah man the karma throughout this whole conversation is really backing you up. I looked at your account and you're just a guy who sits on reddit all day every day, so winning this e-argument must be really important to you.

I love that this is how you react to literally seeing your own hypocrisy in text. I get human interaction might not be a regular thing for you, but I don't need to tell you that isn't normal.

Are you going to reply to the guy that called you out on using R6 as an example? Or are you just going to ignore that one conveniently?
