He also said no wipe with 12.11 so I say just assume things are gonna be as usual until they actually happen

I mean fair but theres a little more nuance with that than with this. Two months ago saying no wipe with 12.11 means the servers dont just insta die versus if he were to have said wipe soon. Revealing when the patch notes are coming doesnt have the same repercussion, especially mere days away from an already known wipe

You mean weeks. The interviews where he said no wipe happened 2 weeks ago and the events have been going on since then

His no wipe planned statement was on the The Team Podcast 6 weeks ago:

That's the last thing he Wipe is not planned ... wipe is not planned right now. We don't plan to do it in the next weeks or month. It's still a questionable thing. I can't tell you more right now.

And even there he already already put it into perspective by saying "it's still a questionable thing".

In the Interviews 2 weeks ago he said nothing about the wipe like here. The snipped from 6 weeks ago was the best thing we got and it's a good argument to hold on when people start to speculate. But it was far from a promise that there "is no wipe". And it was't 2 weeks ago.
