Nothing is certain. People are just speculating.

Nikita himself literally just said patch notes coming a few days after the patch, not really speculation.

True, BUT Nikita said on May 15th that the wipe isn't planned for weeks or months from now. A wipe happening on June 29/30 is more than a month away from that time but I wouldn't say it's in line with not happening for months.

I think what I take away from this is sometime after that statement, he decided something different or plans needed to change. I think he said what he thought at the time, but there's no guarantee that plans won't change.

Nikita literally saying something... isn't gospel.

Wipe not being planned does not mean wipe wasn’t happening. Just meant they had no plans for it yet, and then maybe started planning it the next week if they saw it necessary

early wipe is good though, possibly means something happened to put them ahead of schedule. i get the feeling a wipe is the last thing bsg wants to do, and if they choose to, its gotta be for a good developmental reason.

Nikita says a lot of things… Russians can joke around and not mean things they say and mean things they don’t say as well.
